hakuna matata…

There’s a beautiful feeling when you spend your childhood hearing so much about a place, and when you finally go it exceeds your expectations. Tanzania plays with all your senses; the food is delicious, the spices and coffee that tickle your nose are plenty, the water is warm and oh, so blue.

Area to stay:

  • Stone Town (for an ‘authentic’ old town vibe)
  • Nungwi (quite touristy)
  • Kiwengwa (away from the hustle and bustle but easy access to all areas)

Top sites to see:

  • Mount Kilimanjaro
  • Serengeti – the great migration
  • Zanzibar
  • Maasai people

When to go: June to October or December to January
